At Fairview, we believe growth should enhance the view, not overshadow it. That’s why, before finalizing our design for the region’s newest Life Plan Community, we spent months listening — not just to potential residents, but to neighbors, local partners, and area seniors who care deeply about this place.
Their message was clear: the next generation of senior living should prioritize openness, natural light, and connection to the community.
The result is Vista Point — a community being built with intention. Situated along the Thames River, Vista Point combines coastal beauty with modern design that respects its surroundings.
Fairview has been trusted for 133 years, and that legacy of care, connection, and community continues with our newest chapter: Vista Point at Fairview.
Plans include walking trails, 85% of residences with breathtaking sunset or water views of the Thames River and/or Long Island Sound, and architecture that celebrates light and space rather than height and density. Every detail — from the scale of the buildings to the integration of green space — was designed to feel harmonious.
With six dining venues, an auditorium with a stage, saltwater pool, woodworking studio, golf simulator, speakeasy and bar, plus hiking trails, a dog park, tennis, pickleball, bocce, and art studios, Vista Point combines modern amenities with Fairview’s timeless values: friendship, freedom, and fun.
Even during the planning phase, sustainability and neighborhood character have guided the process, ensuring that this expansion complements southeastern Connecticut rather than crowding it.
While other projects move quickly, Vista Point is moving thoughtfully. Because in communities like ours, growth shouldn’t come with growing pains.
As construction moves ahead of schedule — with groundbreaking in Spring 2026 and opening planned for Fall 2027 — the guiding principle remains the same: growth should always reflect respect for place.
